Returns & Refund Policy
At Four20SA, customer satisfaction is important to us. Due to the nature of our products, certain items cannot be returned once they have left our premises. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
Returns
For hygiene, safety and quality assurance reasons, we cannot accept returns of cannabis products, edibles, oils or other consumable items that have been opened, used or tampered with, unless the product is defective or you are otherwise entitled to a remedy under applicable South African consumer protection laws.
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or incomplete, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order.
To assist us with your request, please provide:
- Your order number.
- A description of the issue.
- Clear photographs of the product and packaging, where applicable.
We will review your claim and advise you of the next steps as soon as possible.
Eligible Returns
We may accept returns in the following circumstances:
- You received the wrong product.
- The product arrived damaged during delivery.
- The product is defective.
- The product was significantly different from what was ordered.
- We made an error when fulfilling your order.
Approved returns must be unused, unopened and returned in their original packaging unless the nature of the issue makes this impossible.
Non-Returnable Items
Unless required by law, we cannot accept returns for:
- Opened cannabis products.
- Opened edibles.
- Opened oils or tinctures.
- Products that have been consumed or partially consumed.
- Products damaged due to misuse or improper storage.
- Change-of-mind purchases.
- Incorrect products ordered by the customer.
Refunds
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
Refunds may also be issued as:
- Store credit.
- Product replacement.
- Exchange for another product of equal value.
The appropriate remedy will depend on the circumstances of each claim.
Approved refunds are generally processed within 5–10 business days, although processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
Exchanges
Where appropriate, we may replace or exchange products that are:
- Damaged.
- Defective.
- Incorrectly supplied.
Replacement products are subject to stock availability.
Order Cancellations
Orders may only be cancelled before they have been processed or dispatched.
Once an order has been prepared for delivery or handed to a courier or driver, cancellation may no longer be possible.
If a cancellation is approved before dispatch, any applicable refund will be processed using the original payment method.
Delivery Issues
Please ensure your delivery address and contact information are accurate.
Four20SA cannot be held responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from:
- Incorrect delivery information.
- Customer unavailability.
- Failure to answer delivery communications.
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Additional delivery charges may apply where a second delivery attempt is required due to customer error.
Quality Guarantee
We carefully inspect all products before dispatch.
If you believe you have received a defective product, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery so that we can investigate and work towards a fair resolution.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Four20SA shall not be responsible for losses arising from:
- Improper use of products.
- Failure to follow product instructions.
- Individual reactions to cannabis products.
- Delays caused by third-party delivery providers.
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable South African consumer protection legislation.
